Safety Audits, Reviews and Inspections
We help them by performing site audits and inspections to highlight areas of concern, improvement and best practice with appropriate corrective actions.
The audits are carried out by one of our industry specialist safety advisors and the duration depends on the size of the business and risks presented. The advisor will know the regulations relevant to your industry and the appropriate questions to ask.
At the end of the audit we discuss, with the nominated safety contact, the best way to deal with the issues presented whilst always bearing in mind the costs and disruption compared with the risks and increased safety of the employees.
Our construction customers request regular construction site inspections, if they are a principal contractor or developer we cover the whole site. If they are an individual trade working on someone else’s site, we purely cover their work activities, unless they request us to comment on other matters.
The Construction Site Inspections are particularly useful when we complete CHAS, Exor, Constructionline or other tender forms for our clients to demonstrate their commitment to workplace safety.
